Our Mission

Since the 1950s, Good Neighbors Fund (GNF) has been a dedicated pillar of support for the local community in Dickinson County. We are a charity organization that raises funds year-round with the sole mission of benefiting local nonprofits. Our commitment lies in ensuring that 100% of the money raised goes directly to local charities, making a significant and lasting impact on the lives of those in need.

What We Do

The Good Neighbors Fund of the Okoboji and Spirit Lake is in the midst of its annual fundraising campaign. GNF has a goal this year to raise at least $90,000 for local charities.

“Last year that was our goal. We ended up raising over $100,000 last year based on the community support. It was great. We were able to give a little extra money to each of those groups last year and we’re hoping to do the same this year. The fund drive for this year is that same amount, $90,000 and there’s 18 groups this year that are part of the fund drive”  says Committee Chairman Luke Donnenwerth.
